4-Day Tanzania Safari from Zanzibar to Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater

Day 1: Zanzibar – Fly to Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Begin your journey with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide. From Arusha proceed directly to Tarangire National Park for a scenic game drive. The park is renowned for its:

• Giant baobab trees,
• Large elephant herds 
• seasonal rivers that attract a wide variety of wildlife.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Enjoy picnic lunch within the park while surrounded by the natural beauty of the savannah. In the afternoon, continue with further game viewing before departing for the town of Karatu, located on the edge of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park traveling through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way enjoy a game drive as you gradually enter the legendary Serengeti plains, famous for their vast open savannah and abundant wildlife. Arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch and a short rest before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Keep watch for

• Lions
• Cheetahs
• Elephants and the
• Iconic wildebeest herds that roam these endless plains.

Return to your tented camp in the evening for dinner and an unforgettable night under the African sky.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Start your day early with a sunrise game drive across the Serengeti, followed by a memorable bush breakfast in the wilderness. Afterwards begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area enjoying wildlife sightings along the route.

An optional visit to a traditional Maasai village can be arranged upon request offering an opportunity to experience local culture and traditions. Late evening Arrive at your lodge located on the crater rim or nearby in Karatu in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Fly Back to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive.The crater floor is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five and the rare black rhino. Other species commonly seen include zebras, hippos, lions, and flocks of flamingos.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending back to the crater rim.Later, drive back to Arusha Airport for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar, arriving in the early evening.
