Fumba Beach Lodge
Fumba Beach Lodge sits on the Fumba Beach peninsula in the Menai Bay Conservation Area, one of Zanzibarβs most pristine private beaches and home to a large marine sanctuary designated by the World Wildlife Fund as an area of outstanding natural beauty in 1998. The lodge is sheltered by three natural coves and is approximately 30 minutes from Stone Town. It is the sister property to The Swahili House in Stone Town.
Rooms
The lodge offers 26 spacious en-suite bandas. Sea View and Garden View Deluxe Rooms come with a double bed convertible to two twins (Sea View) or a king-size bed (Garden View), private terrace, mini fridge, mosquito net, room safe, in-room library and desk. Four Luxury Suites add a king-size bed, private roof terrace and an en-suite bathroom with a deep soaking tub and an outdoor shower leading onto the beach. Two Baobab Suites are built around 300-year-old baobab trees, each with its own outdoor shower.
Activities
The lodge offers a wide range of water sports thanks to its Menai Bay setting, including snorkelling, diving and sailing within the marine sanctuary.
