Migunga Tented Camp is nestled in a quiet corner on the northwest of Lake Manyara. This is the ideal base camp to discover the beautiful surroundings of Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park, or pay a cultural visit to the colourful town of Mto Wa Mbu. The camp is only 5 minutes away from the entrance of Lake Manyara National Park.The camp is set in 35 acres of acacia forest and consists of 19 semi-luxury tents on raised platforms, all with ensuite bathrooms and a private veranda set underneath a canopy of acacia trees. The tents are discretely placed around a central glade, offering shade and privacy whilst only a short walk to the restaurant and bar.
At Migunga you wake up to the sound of the forest, with sunbeams glowing through the tall trees. In the afternoon you can enjoy our mountain bike ride trail through Lake Manyara’s backyard or watch our vervet monkeys from your private veranda. The evenings are resonating with the rich sounds of forest creatures, making your fairytale complete.
