Africa Safari Lake Natron

Africa Safari Lake Natron, situated on the edge of Lake Natron, is a safari lodge offering easy access to the Northern Circuit national parks and reserves. Find a dramatic lava desert terrain, together with a high alkaline lake in a depression created by the Rift Valley. The grounds are spacious and offer a variety of accommodation options, ranging from simple Safari tents to the ultimate in Glamping luxury.

The Safari tents are simple and offer the same beautiful views of the mineral-rich ‘soda’ lake that sometimes turns a mesmerising pinkish-red. Safari Comfort bungalows are large and comfortable, with air-conditioning, brick walls, a concrete floor and a permanent ensuite bathroom. The air-conditioned Luxury Glamping tents are built on a raised wooden deck and feature a beautiful rustic wooden interior.

The swimming pool, with sunbeds and umbrellas, offers a beautiful view of the neighbouring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a still active, unique and intriguing volcano. The perfect spot for relaxing, sunbathing and taking in the magnificent scenery.

Safari Luxury Glamping

Enjoy the experience of sleeping under canvas, with all the luxuries needed to ensure a comfortable stay, surrounded by the beauty and wonder of Lake Natron. Safari Luxury Glamping is available in three different bedding configurations, all with air-conditioning, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, a toilet and a washbasin as well as a private outdoor terrace, which is fabulous for taking in all the sights and sounds of Lake Natron.

Safari Comfort Bungalow

The Safari Comfort Bungalows are permanent structures overlooking Lake Natron and its beautiful surroundings. This air-conditioned room consists of a comfortable indoor seating area, a king-size bed and a single bed and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, a toilet and a washbasin. An extra single bed can be placed in the room. The private outdoor terrace, which boasts dramatic lake views, is ideal for relaxing.

Safari Tent

Basic, but effective, the Safari Tents are the perfect low-cost opportunity to experience Lake Natron. Furnished with two single beds, and a small outdoor seating area, this is the chance to get back to basics and enjoy the adventure. The tents are located near the restaurant, bar and swimming pool.
