Africa Safari Lake Natron is inside the Lake Natron TAWA (Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority) conservation area — positioned between Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti as a northern circuit complement. It is the world's most important lesser flamingo breeding site, with up to 2.5 million flamingos gathering between September and December. The pool overlooks Ol Doinyo Lengai — the active "Mountain of God" volcano, one of Africa's most extraordinary landscapes.

Reviews from 2025 describe: "The location and design of the camp was well thought — views from the main house and restaurant of the lake are gorgeous!" Another August 2025 review: "The staff were friendly. The food was very good and the tent very clean. We felt comfortable there." The camp offers "comfortable safari tents with en-suite bathroom and king size bed" and glamping safari tents with "luxurious bathroom and spacious covered veranda."
