Pangani was once one of East Africa's most important ports, with well-preserved colonial and Swahili architecture, the Pangani River delta, mangrove forests and access to coral reefs. The cliff-top position gives the lodge panoramic ocean views and sea breezes, with significantly fewer visitors than Zanzibar.
