Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Nyerere National Park (Boat Safari)
Your adventure begins with a drive from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park, one of Africa's largest protected areas. Upon arrival, enjoy a sunset boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.
Dinner and Overnight: Nyerere Tented Camp (FB)
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park
Spend the full day exploring the vast landscapes of Nyerere. The park is known for its rich biodiversity, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and the endangered African wild dogs.

Day 3: Nyerere – Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, depart for Mikumi National Park. En route or in the morning, choose between two optional activities:
A guided walking safari in Nyerere for an up-close experience of the bush, or
A Maasai cultural tour near Mikumi to learn about local traditions and daily life.
Arrive in Mikumi and settle in for the evening.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
Enjoy a full day exploring Mikumi’s rich savannahs, home to lions, zebras, wildebeests, elephants, hippos, and more. The park’s open plains resemble those of the Serengeti, offering great wildlife photography opportunities.
Dinner and Overnight: Camp Bastian, Mikumi (FB)
Day 5: Mikumi – Udzungwa Mountains National Park (Hiking)
Drive to Udzungwa Mountains for a half-day guided hike. Trek through dense tropical rainforest to reach the spectacular Sanje Waterfalls, which plunge over 170 meters. The park is home to endemic primates and rare plant species.
Overnight: Camp Bastian, Mikumi (FB)
Day 6: Mikumi – Dar es Salaam (via SGR Train from Morogoro)
After breakfast, transfer to Morogoro Railway Station for your SGR train journey back to Dar es Salaam, offering scenic views along the way.
