Africa Safari Karatu is a luxury safari lodge located on the edge of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The area became popular with early settlers and farmers because of its cool climate, green hills, and beautiful views, with coffee being one of the most important crops. The rolling slopes of the extinct Ol Deani volcano are a striking feature of the landscape.
