Or when the midday sun is up, sit in the shade of a tree in the lush garden or visit the local community of Kipungani to learn more about traditional coastal life of the people who live on Lamu island.
Easy to reach, the house is a 30 minute speedboat from Lamu airport through the mangroves. On arriving, you will park up on the large, golden sand beach. With few other properties in the area, the beach feels exclusive and secluded but also with a fun vibe - a beach bar serving great pina coladas makes for a great place to watch the sun set over the ocean.
