Jua house located in the traditional village of Shella on Lamu island and only a 10 min walk away from the beach. Cleanliness, functionality, comfort, beauty and of course the service to the guests are our main focus, offers five Double Rooms, one Single Room and a Rooftop suite. The double rooms are equipped with king size or twin beds. All rooms have their own private bathrooms with organic products for hair and body. The rooms are on 3 different floors. Each floor has a spacious chill-out space with a breakfast table for six, a fridge and an electric kettle for tea and coffee. There is free Wifi on every floor. The interior design combines traditional Swahili woodcraft, African style and a touch of modern artistry. From the two roof-top terraces one has amazing views to the dunes, the sea and over the islands of Lamu and Manda.
Breakfast
Breakfast is maybe the most important meal of the day. They provide a variety of homemade products such as jam, granola and yoghurt. Fresh fruit, eggs and pancakes are also on the menu. in-house bakery supplies baguette and sourdough breads every morning, as well as cakes for the daily 4 o´clock afternoon coffee/tea on the rooftop.
