Double G Safaris and Camp Mikumi

Double G Safaris and Camp Mikumi is a small, well-reviewed safari camp on the southern circuit of Tanzania, set in savannah plains and acacia woodland near the south gate of Mikumi National Park. The camp sits approximately 12km from the park gate in a peaceful location with views over the surrounding bush, where zebra, giraffe and antelope regularly pass close to the property.

Rooms

The camp offers a mix of accommodation types to suit different group sizes and budgets, including family rooms with air conditioning, private bathrooms, private balconies and terraces. Each room has a work desk, dining area and free WiFi. Some units feature indoor private hot tubs and fireplaces.

The camp has a restaurant and bar with an outdoor fireplace serving buffet breakfasts with local specialities, fresh pastries and a variety of beverages, alongside a coffee shop and an indoor play area for younger guests. Game drives in Mikumi National Park with in-house guides are the main activity, alongside guided walking tours, cultural visits to local villages and evening bush fires.
