Gnu Mara River Camp
Gnu Mara River Camp is a luxury mobile tented camp in the Kogatende area of Northern Serengeti, just a few minutesβ drive from the Mara River, where more than 2.5 million wildebeest and zebra cross during their migration into the Maasai Mara. The camp is one of the GNU Migration Camps, which follow the herds: this site operates as Mara River Camp from June to mid-November, while the same operation runs Gnu Ndutu Migration Camp in the southern plains from December to March.
Tents
The camp has 10 semi-permanent en-suite luxury tents, including family rooms, each fitted with king-size or twin beds and en-suite facilities comprising a shower, hand-wash basin and flush toilet.
Facilities
The campsite is fully solar-powered, with free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, a terrace and a bar. A Bedouin-style stretch tent forms the communal mess and dining area, with dining tables and camp chairs that can be moved around the campfire for sundowners and fireside stories.
Activities and Access
Activities include game drives, hot air balloon flights, walking safaris and great migration safaris. The camp is accessible by road or air via Kogatende Airstrip.
