Lahia Tented Lodge — The 360° Serengeti Panorama Lodge
Lahia Tented Lodge is a Tanganyika Wilderness Camps property set on a hilltop in central Serengeti with a defining 360-degree panoramic view across Central Serengeti and towards the Western Serengeti. The main house — containing the lounge, dining room and swimming pool — is specifically noted for its "unique 360-degree panoramic view of the landscape." Within reach are the iconic Masais Kopjes, the Olduvai Gorge museum, the Seronera valley and the Grumeti River, making it one of the most well-positioned central camps for the full breadth of Serengeti's classic landmarks.
The tented accommodation is elegant and purpose-designed: raised on wooden platforms with private terraces overlooking the savannah, a choice of king or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs and outdoor showers. Family rooms are available as two interconnected tents. Lahia is the sister lodge to Mara Mara Tented Lodge (id #191), both operated by Tanganyika Wilderness Camps.
