Lamai Serengeti is operated by Nomad Tanzania and sits tucked amongst the rocks of the iconic Kogakuria Kopje in northern Serengeti — a natural granite formation providing panoramic views of the Mara River valley below and the endless plains beyond. The kopje setting is genuinely spectacular — open-fronted rooms look directly onto the landscape, with the wildebeest Migration visible from camp during its July-November passage.

Twelve carefully designed tents are split between the Main Camp and the smaller Private Camp, constructed from canvas, ferro and natural poles on spacious hardwood verandas among the rocks. Each room has exceptional views. Mara River crossings are 20 minutes away. The camp offers year-round game viewing (the northern Serengeti has outstanding resident wildlife) with the dramatic Migration season overlay from July to November. Families, groups and couples are all catered for, with the Private Camp giving an exclusive-use option.
