SBH Monica Zanzibar is a 5-star, adults-only, all-inclusive resort directly on Paje Beach, on Zanzibar’s south-east coast. Surrounded by tropical gardens and overlooking the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, the resort combines modern comfort with island-style design, and is part of the Spanish SBH Hotels & Resorts group, which also operates SBH Kilindini Resort on Zanzibar’s north-east coast.

Rooms

Rooms are spacious and decorated in an island style that blends local character with modern comfort. Deluxe Double Rooms offer either two canopy twin beds or a king-size bed, all with mosquito nets, air conditioning, satellite TV, a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, and a furnished private terrace. Junior Suites add extra space with an ambience inspired by traditional Zanzibari architecture. Rooms are positioned away from the main common areas for a quieter stay.

Facilities and Dining

The All-Inclusive package covers a restaurant, beach bar, and a year-round outdoor swimming pool, along with a spa offering massages and treatments. The resort runs a dedicated kitesurfing school with lessons and equipment rental, taking advantage of Paje’s consistent winds, alongside evening entertainment programmes.

Location

The resort sits directly on Paje Beach, renowned for its powdery white sand and turquoise water, close to Paje village and within reach of Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park.
