Siringit Serengeti Camp โ Three-Time Winner, Africa's Best Tented Camp
Siringit Serengeti Camp has won the World Travel Awards title of Africa's Leading Luxury Tented Safari Camp for three consecutive years: 2023, 2024 and 2025. These are peer-voted industry awards with meaningful weight, and for a small, privately owned camp to hold the title this consistently against the Singita and andBeyond portfolios is a genuine statement of quality.
The camp is set 6 kilometres east of Seronera Airstrip in the central Serengeti on a site that the Tanzania National Parks authority itself used to host visiting dignitaries โ a site still marked "Yellow Stone" on official park maps in tribute to a visit by Yellowstone National Park officials. The central location gives year-round access to the Big Five, resident big cats, the famous Hippo Pool, the Serengeti Research Centre, and the hot-air balloon launch site. The famous Seronera Valley leopards are accessible year-round, and the migration herds pass through the central Serengeti twice annually.
Accommodation
Ten spacious canvas tents โ nine standard and one two-bedroom family tent โ are elegantly furnished with king or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, private verandas, and Serengeti plains views. Massages are included in the full-board rate โ an unusual and generous inclusion that most camps charge extra for. Menus across all Siringit properties were created by a Michelin-starred chef, promising a culinary standard that most safari camps in the Serengeti cannot approach. WiFi is included. The camp is undergoing phased renovations in 2026 to add a swimming pool and refresh the dining areas.
Activities
Morning and afternoon game drives in open vehicles explore the central Serengeti's rich wildlife territory, including the Seronera Valley for resident leopard, the hippo pools, and surrounding kopje formations. Hot-air balloon safaris depart from the nearby launch site at additional cost. Cultural community visits and guide-led stargazing sessions are available. The Siringit Migration Camp โ a newer sister property โ operates as a mobile camp during migration season for guests wanting the northern Serengeti crossing experience alongside the central Serengeti stay.
Who Is Siringit Serengeti Camp Best For?
Siringit suits travellers who want award-winning quality and a Michelin-level dining experience in the central Serengeti without paying Singita prices. The massages-included policy, the Yellowstone site's historical prestige, and the year-round Big Five access make it a strong choice for first-time and repeat visitors alike. Children of all ages are welcome, making it one of the most family-friendly luxury options in the central park.

Three consecutive World Travel Awards as Africa's Leading Luxury Tented Safari Camp is not marketing copy โ it is the result of a consistently exceptional product. What makes Siringit stand out is the combination of Michelin-designed menus, massages included in the rate (genuinely rare at this price point), year-round Big Five from a central Serengeti location, and a privately owned operation that clearly cares about every guest. It is not the cheapest option in the central Serengeti, but it delivers the best value at the luxury tier. Combine with the Siringit Migration Camp for a complete Serengeti circuit.โ The SafariBando team
