Udzungwa Falls Lodge is the largest and most comprehensively facilitated lodge near Udzungwa Mountains National Park, positioned on the slopes of the park in the Kiberege/Kidatu area. While the smaller Hondo Hondo eco-camp prioritises atmosphere and park proximity, Udzungwa Falls Lodge offers a full hotel experience: 40 air-conditioned rooms with balconies and rainfall showers, two restaurants (Shonga for breakfast/lunch, Kula na Bwana for all-day dining), two bars, an outdoor pool, a children's pool, a fitness centre and concierge services.

The lodge is praised for its warm hospitality and the natural setting — red colobus monkeys regularly appear in the trees by the terraces, and the Sanje Waterfall and Udzungwa park attractions are close by. At $261/night it is the premium option for Udzungwa visitors who want hotel-standard facilities alongside the rainforest experience. An airport shuttle service is available for $100 per person one-way.
