2-Day Tanzania Safari from Zanzibar to Tarangire & Ngorongoro Crater

 Day 1: Zanzibar – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

• Start your day with an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport, where your safari guide will warmly welcome you.
• Depart in a private 4x4 safari vehicle and drive straight to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.
• Explore the vast landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees, and spot large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more.
• Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch inside the park with views over the Tarangire River.
• Later in the afternoon, drive to the town of Karatu, located on the slopes of the Ngorongoro Highlands.
• Check in to your lodge, relax with a warm shower, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Zanzibar
 

• After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a once-in-a-lifetime game drive.
• The Crater is home to the Big Five, including endangered black rhinos, as well as cheetahs, hippos, flamingos, and thousands of wildebeest and zebra.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool while soaking in the breathtaking surroundings.
• After the game drive, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha.
• Board your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar, arriving in the early evening.
