3-Day Saadani National Park Safari from Dar es Salaam

Departing from Dar es Salaam in the morning, the drive to Saadani National Park takes approximately four to five hours. Upon arrival you check in at your lodge and in the afternoon embark on a game drive within the park. Saadani is home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, warthogs, and an outstanding variety of bird species across its mix of coastal savannah, woodland, and wetland habitats.

In the afternoon, a boat safari along the Wami River offers close encounters with hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a wide variety of waterbirds in the mangrove-lined channels.
