Spice Farm Tour, Fruit Tasting and Kidichi Persian Bath
A morning drive takes you inland to a working spice plantation, where a local guide leads you through rows of clove, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper and other crops that made Zanzibar one of the world’s largest spice producers through the 19th and 20th centuries. Along the way, you’ll smell, touch and taste spices straight from the plant, and sample tropical fruit grown on site. The tour continues to Kidichi Persian Bath, built in 1850 by the first Sultan of Zanzibar for his wife Sheherazade, before returning to your hotel by early afternoon.
