Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or in Arusha, your guide meets you and transfers you to your hotel. A briefing prepares you for the ten-day safari.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds, the park also supports giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and elusive predators. A picnic lunch is enjoyed at a scenic spot within the park before afternoon drives near the Tarangire River.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This compact sanctuary is famous for its tree-climbing lions, troops of baboons, hippos, and flocks of flamingos on the alkaline lake shore. A full-day game drive covers the park's groundwater forest, open floodplain, and lake edge. A picnic lunch is enjoyed within the park.

Day 4

Karatu to Ndutu

After breakfast, drive south through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Ndutu. On arrival, the first game drive covers the short-grass calving plains — the most concentrated predator area in Africa during December to March, and an excellent year-round wildlife destination.

Day 5

Full Day in Ndutu

A full day on the Ndutu plains. Game drives follow wildebeest herds and calving activity, with the predators — lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas — providing dramatic wildlife encounters. A picnic lunch is served in the field to maximise time in the area.

Day 6

Ndutu to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, drive north into Serengeti National Park. The open plains en route offer wildlife sightings throughout the journey. An en route game drive and afternoon arrival in the central Seronera area give the first Serengeti experience.

Day 7

Full Day in Central Serengeti

The first of three full days in the central Serengeti. The Seronera area is one of the most wildlife-rich ecosystems in the park, with lions on kopjes, leopards in the acacia trees, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra creating a constantly changing spectacle.

Day 8

Second Full Day in Central Serengeti

A second day exploring different circuits in the central Serengeti. Lions are especially prominent in the Seronera area — often seen resting on kopjes or along the river. Cheetahs and leopards add to the predator diversity, while the permanent water sources support year-round concentrations of elephants, hippos, and buffalo.

Day 9

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

After breakfast, a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you ascend to the rim, panoramic views across the caldera unfold. Dinner and overnight at the rim in preparation for tomorrow's descent.

Day 10

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive — Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater — a UNESCO World Heritage Site hosting one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino are all regularly encountered. A picnic lunch near a scenic waterhole is followed by the ascent and the return to Arusha.

December to March for the Ndutu calving season. Year-round for all other parks on the itinerary. Ngorongoro Crater is excellent in all seasons.
