3-Day Pilanesberg (Malaria Free) Safari Package

Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg where you will be met by your driver for a transfer to your lodge (approximately 3 hour road transfer). Arrive at the Lodge, Check in and Lunch will be served at around 12h30 - 14h00. At about 15h30 - 16h00 time for an afternoon / evening game drive in an open 4x4 Land Rover together with your guide (Game Ranger) and other guests from the lodge. Time permitting, stop to enjoy a spectacular African sunset with a sundowner drink and snacks before returning to the lodge in the dark, where you may be lucky to spot a rare nocturnal animal with the aid of powerful torches. Dinner served at the Lodge.

Full days on safari: Early rise followed by coffee and rusks and then a morning Safari game drive. The Pilanesberg National Park is well known for its excellent game viewing. Other than the Big 5 there are great opportunities to see all sorts of creatures, both big and small, and your ranger is an expert on the area’s flora and fauna. Return to the Lodge and enjoy a hearty breakfast before having time to relax during the heat of the day, either at the pool or in the comfort of your room. Lunch will be served at the Lodge. In the late afternoon it is once again time for a Safari game drive in the hope of seeing some more exciting animals. Dinner is served at the lodge on your return.
