5 Day Western Corridor Safari Serengeti, Grumeti and Ngorongoro Crater

ARRIVAL DAY

At Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, you will have time to relax, followed by a short briefing to prepare you for the safari ahead.

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO CENTRAL SERENGETI

After breakfast, begin your scenic journey towards Serengeti National Park. As you enter the park, the surroundings open into sweeping savannah plains dotted with acacia trees and granite kopjes.

Your game drive introduces you to the rhythm of the wild where predators and prey coexist. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, and leopards. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the park.

DAY 2: CENTRAL SERENGETI TO WESTERN CORRIDOR (GRUMETI)

After breakfast, continue your safari towards the Western Corridor. The landscape transitions into a mix of open plains, riverine forests, and seasonal wetlands.

You may encounter herds of grazers and predators, while the Grumeti River adds a unique highlight. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your game drive.

DAY 3: FULL DAY IN WESTERN SERENGETI (GRUMETI AREA)

Spend a full day exploring the Western Serengeti. This area offers a more exclusive safari experience with fewer vehicles and uninterrupted wildlife encounters.

The area supports a rich ecosystem with elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and big cats. During migration season, herds move across the plains with dramatic moments. Picnic lunch will be served in the bush.

DAY 4: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER RIM

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning in the Serengeti before continuing towards the Ngorongoro Crater.

The journey reveals a change from open savannah to highland terrain. Upon arrival, enjoy panoramic views of the crater.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA

After breakfast, descend into the crater for a game drive. The crater floor is rich in wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, and the rare black rhino.

Later, ascend and return to Arusha for your onward journey.
