Relax and sit back as you watch over the plains from the comfort of the canvassed living room tent within the main lodge. With a large open side that leads out to a deck giving you views from every direction. The natural design of the room allows you to soak in the beauty that Africa offers. Lounge on one of the large and comfy sofas, read a book or watch as zebras and wildebeest gallop across the horizon. Enjoy African delicacies in the dining room tent that has tables inside and outside on the extended decking. Dine under candlelight and talk about the sights you have seen and the adventures that you will take. You will watch the sunset as you dine on exquisite dishes that are flavoursome and have been created by the expertise of the on-site chefs. If you have had a long day out in the bush, head down from the main lodge to the relaxing and tranquil swimming pool with an infinity edge that allows you to look out over the Serengeti.

All 25 standard tents bring you relaxation and luxury. They have been designed to blend in with the surroundings so that animals will wander freely throughout the tented campsite. With luxurious four-poster beds designed to keep the mosquitoes away so you can slip into a splendorous sleep, natural wooden furnishings with elements of African design to enhance the beauty of the plains. You can step out onto your private deck to get the best views of the animals that roam throughout the Serengeti. Each bathroom has been designed to suit every need, with beautiful double vanity and relaxing bath right next to private windows so you can soak yourself in hot bubbles whilst you look out at the most incredible African views or even enjoy a relaxing night in the tub as the night sky shines. Activities at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge

Head out on a spectacular adventure with one of the trained expert guides as you travel across the magnificent Serengeti plains. Have the chance to get up close with the animals that call it their home, see predators seek and hunt their prey, watch herds galloping across the golden plains whilst you are on a game drive. Your guide will take you to all the hotspots for prime animal viewing, teach you about the tracking techniques, and answer questions on the herds and packs that frequent the area. If you time your trip right, you may even get the chance to witness the majestic Great Migration of the wildebeests as they venture across the Mara River for greener pastures.

If you want to see the animals from a unique perspective, head out on one of the many early morning hot-air balloon safaris. You will take to the skies and soar over the plains whilst the herds stampede below you, and after watching the plains come alive, you will be treated to a delicious picnic breakfast after landing. You may also want to take part in the famous African tradition of a sundowner where you will enjoy drinks at sunset as you sit around a campfire talking with other travellers of the joys you witnessed throughout the day. You will watch the African night sky come alive as the stars sparkle overhead.
