Zanzibar to Mikumi — Full Day Game Drive — Return to Zanzibar
An early morning flight departs Zanzibar for Mikumi airstrip, where your driver-guide meets you for a morning game drive across the Mikumi National Park floodplains. The Mkata plains, an open grassland bisected by the Mkata River, concentrate lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe and hippo in reliably accessible terrain. A picnic lunch inside the park is followed by an afternoon game drive before the return flight to Zanzibar, arriving before evening.
