Day 1: Zanzibar to Ruaha National Park – Into the Wild

Your adventure begins with an early morning transfer to Zanzibar Airport for a scenic bush flight to Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and immediately begin your first game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp. Wildlife encounters start right away giraffes, elephants, zebras, and antelopes are commonly seen roaming the vast wilderness.

After lunch and some time to relax, head out for an afternoon game drive. As the day winds down, enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the savannah an unforgettable African safari moment. In the evening return to camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 2: Full Safari Experience & Return to Zanzibar

Start your day early with a sunrise game drive prime time for spotting predators like lions, leopards and hyenas as they are most active in the cooler hours. Explore the rich ecosystems of Ruaha, including a visit to the iconic Great Ruaha River, a vital water source that attracts elephants, buffalo and a variety of wildlife, offering excellent photographic opportunities.

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a short en-route game drive as you transfer back to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar. Depart with incredible memories of Tanzania’s untamed wilderness.
