Moshi to Mkomazi National Park
An early start is essential for this trip. After pickup from your hotel with a packed lunch, it's a straight drive of around 120km, roughly an hour, to Mkomazi National Park. After registration formalities, the game drive begins, with giraffe, antelope and zebra commonly seen, and a chance, with luck, of spotting lion and elephant. A visit to the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary can also be arranged at an extra charge, since it's a privately run sanctuary supporting rhino conservation, visitor contributions go directly toward the project. The game drive continues through the day into the late evening before the drive back to Moshi, where the trip ends with drop-off at your hotel.
