Boat Excursion and Snorkeling at Mnemba Atoll
After a morning pickup from your hotel on the northeast coast, a short boat ride brings you to Mnemba Atoll, a small coral island protected as a conservation area and widely regarded as the best snorkeling site in Zanzibar. The surrounding reef stays in unusually good condition thanks to its protected status, with consistently clear water that regularly reveals sea turtles, large schools of reef fish, and occasionally reef sharks or dolphins. Two to three snorkeling stops around the atoll are included before the boat returns you to the coast by early afternoon.
