4 days 3 night Pare Mountains Trekking

Day 1: After breakfast and a general briefing done at Elephant Motel, we depart either by public bus or private car to Mbagga Village where you will arrive for evening activities dinner overnight at Tona Lodge. You will explore this village by visiting waterfall, hills trekking to Malimeni rock, before your return to Tona Lodge for overnight. It takes 1.5 hurs by public bus from Same town to Mbagga village and private by car 1hr.

Day 2: After breakfast depart from Tona Lodge in Mbagga village at 1,500Mt to Chome village. Time: 6 hrs hiking. Dinner & overnight 1,900 mt at Chome village. Accommodations: overnight home hosting or hostel.

Day 3: Depart at 5:00 am from Chome village to Shengena Peak 2,463 mt above sea level. Ascending 6 hours and descend 4 hours once you have completed your descent, your lunch will be served at Chome village. Accommodation overnight at Chome village or descend to Same Elephant Motel by private car for dinner overnight at Elephant Motel in Same town.

If you choose to spend your 3rd night after Shengenena Peak at Chome village, you will explore the following activities in the evening hrs -cultural tourism activities at Namoche cliff, Holy forests, Chome waterfall, Pare traditional dance and Pare history from story teller during Pare traditional dance.

Day 4: Depart early morning from Chome village to Same Centre for Masai culture and bomas visit. This event takes about 3-4 hrs before driving back to Elephant Motel for lunch. After lunch depart to Moshi or other destination end of Pare Mountains tour.
